Sherwoods Cottage Farmstay
Sherwoods Cottage is a great place for a family holiday. You can even bring the family pet! Our farmstay is on a working cattle property in North West NSW, halfway between Narrabri and Bingara in the beautiful Rocky Creek Valley. There is a lovely clear creek that runs through our property with lots of safe open space to walk, cycle and explore. Families are welcome to join in the farm activities which revolve around our cows and calves. We also have horses, laying hens and dogs. Collecting the eggs is always a joyful experience for children and it’s good to learn where that great food comes from! We have lots of wildlife on our property including kangaroos, emus, birds, foxes and night time creatures like owls and possums. Have a camp oven dinner or just a barbecue over the coals and experience the peace and tranquillity of a farm holiday. PS The stars are brilliant here as there is absolutely no light pollution! Lie out on the grass and watch for falling stars! You’re guaranteed to leave Sherwoods Cottage relaxed and refreshed and the kids will love it!
