Gold Coast Kids Clubs

The Gold Coast is home to many family friendly resorts and hotels and some offer dedicated kids clubs.


Paradise Resort
Zone 4 Kids (Z4K) caters for newborns right through to 12 year olds. Z4K is more of a theme park for kids - there are 7 themed play spaces including Tiny Town with pedal-powered cars, a ball pit, slides and a craft room. There is also a Z4K Waterpark featuring slides, water cannons, climbing frames and giant splash bucket. At Planet Chill, kids can even ice-skate all year round (3 years and up). The resort also caters for teenagers with the Chill Zone featuring air hockey and foos ball tables and disco nights at the ice rink for teenagers only. Z4K Kid's Club open daily 8am-8pm, 8:30pm-10:30pm (Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat). Z4K Waterpark open 9am-4:30pm (5:30pm in Summer). Minimum cost per session $20/2hr, $40/4 hrs.

Sea World Resort
The Sea World Resort Kids' Club is for children aged from 4yrs to 12yrs. Children under the age of 4yrs can attend provided that they are supervised by an adult. The club has specially designed SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer activities and programs that the kids will love. It includes XBox 360 games and a kids movie theatre regularly screening children's movies, face-painting, arts and craft and team sports. The club is open every day from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Full evening Kids Club sessions includes dinner and activities. Charges apply.

Turtle Beach Resort
Club Turtle runs activities daily for children aged 4-12 years and can cater for up to 24 children. Kids can choose from creative art and craft sessions, big screen Wii interactive games, and an Xbox only room. There are party theme nights held with disco and movies screenings. The resort also has a waterslide, putt-putt golf course, playground, games rooms, a trampoline and tennis courts. Club Turtle has various sessions each day and the cost is $25 per session. Many of the resort's packages include a complimentary session per child.

Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa
The Kid's Club at the Marriott caters for children 3-14 years of age. Activities include fish feeding, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, movies and board games. The huge lagoon pool has a great waterslide for kids. There are also tennis courts and an activities room. There are 3 sessions per day. Session 1 open daily 9:00am-12:30pm, session 2 open daily 1:30pm-5:00pm and session 3 open 5:30pm-9:00pm (Sat only). Cost is $45/session.

Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove
The Planet Trekkers kids club is available for kids aged between 4 and 12 years. Each 3 hour session includes a carer and light refreshments. There is an afternoon and night session daily and the cost is $45 per child per session. The program offers both indoor and outdoor adventures, from a torch safari to a golf buggy tour, and indoor games within the air-conditioned Garden Lounge.

Ashmore Palms Holiday Village
Ashmore Palms Kid's Club and family activities are complimentary for all guests. Activities include face painting, games, balloon modeling, kid's craft and sand art. You can have morning tea and have a photo taken with some tame birds. There are 2 swimming lagoons, 2 children's playgrounds, an activity centre and a full size tennis court. There is also a free email club for kids with competitions and games. Open every day.

Big 4 Treasure Island
BIG4 Treasure Island offers a kids activity program for kids aged between 4 and 14 years. There a 3 sessions daily (8.30 to 10.30am, 11 to midday and 1.30 to 3pm) and the cost is $6 per child per session. Spaces are limited so you need to book in advance.
